Dells Lions honored for membership milestones
 

Nine members of the Dell Rapids Lions Club were honored recently with Chevron Awards from Lions Clubs International. The chevron is a symbol of a badge or insignia indicating rank or length of service. Lions International President Dr. Patti Hill wrote: "Your service and kindness are not only changing the world, you're inspiring others to change it, too."
 

Those who received chevrons (and their years of service) are: Ray Pederson (55), Marlowe Hovey (25), Connie Earley (25), Blaine and JoAnn Beck (20), Darrold Williams (20), Jody Morrow (15), and Ruth and Wayne Coffaa (15).
